Fully accredited. Nationally recognised. Delivered by someone who's been the person who needed a Mental Health First Aider.
What It Is
Mental Health First Aid is the mental health equivalent of physical first aid. It trains people to recognise the signs of mental health issues, have a supportive conversation and guide someone to the right help.
Danny is a fully accredited Mental Health First Aid England instructor — which means the qualification your people receive is official, credible and nationally recognised. MHFA First Aiders are now a standard expectation in responsible UK organisations.
What makes Danny's MHFA training different from every other provider is simple: he has been the person who needed a Mental Health First Aider. He knows what that moment feels like from the inside. He knows what the right response looks like — and what the wrong one does.
The two-day course qualifies up to 16 participants as certified Mental Health First Aiders. It covers the full MHFA England curriculum — delivered with the authenticity and authority of someone who has spent 15 years working at the sharp end of mental health in the real world.
"Our MHFAs left that training confident. Not just qualified — genuinely ready."

Common Concerns
MHFA training is a genuine investment. Here are honest answers to the questions organisations ask most.
The curriculum is the same — it's accredited. What's different is Danny. His lived experience and 15 years of practical work make the material stick in a way a clinical instructor in a classroom simply can't replicate.
An Employee Assistance Programme and qualified MHFAs serve completely different functions. EAPs are reactive. MHFAs are proactive — the first line of recognition and support before crisis hits.
Yes. It's issued by Mental Health First Aid England — the national body for MHFA training in the UK. The same certification is recognised by employers across every sector.
Yes. Danny can run consecutive two-day courses to train multiple groups. We'll work with you on scheduling to minimise operational disruption.
