Every Format. Every Audience.
No two organisations are the same. Danny offers six formats — from a 45-minute keynote that stops a room to a full day walking your site, listening to your people. Find yours below.
Choose Your Format
Danny's signature talk. Raw, personal and powerful — from the pitch to the car park and back. Designed to stop a room, start conversations and shift the way people think about mental health.
A focused half-day combining Danny's story with practical tools your team can use immediately. Ideal when impact matters but time is tight. Includes group discussion and signposting.
A deeper, richer session. Danny's story, group exercises, conversation skills and practical mental health frameworks. For organisations serious about culture change, not just awareness.
Something different. Danny embeds in your organisation for a full day — walking the floor, listening, talking. No agenda. No formal session. Just honest one-to-ones with someone who genuinely gets it.
Fully accredited Mental Health First Aid England training. Attendees qualify as certified Mental Health First Aiders — a recognised, valued workplace standard delivered by Danny as a certified instructor.
A half-day refresher for existing Mental Health First Aiders. Keeps skills sharp, confidence high and knowledge current. Perfect for organisations with MHFAs already in place who want to keep standards up.
Most mental health sessions happen in a room. People sit, they listen, they nod — and by Friday it's forgotten. The Listening Walkaround is different.
Danny comes to you. He spends a full day embedded in your organisation — on your site, in your office, walking your floor. He makes himself available, lets your people approach him in their own time, and has the kind of honest, informal conversations that never happen in a formal session.
No agenda. No PowerPoint. No performance. Just a man who's been to the edge and back, giving your people his time, his ear and his experience.
Danny's keynote is one of the most powerful mental health talks available in the UK. It isn't a polished corporate presentation. It's a man standing in front of your people and telling the truth — about his career, his breakdown, the car park, the pills, and the phone call that saved his life.
And then what happened next. The 15 years of work. The schools, the building sites, the boardrooms. The people who told him afterwards that his talk was the reason they finally asked for help.
The keynote runs 45–60 minutes and can include a facilitated Q&A. It's suited to conferences, leadership away days, awareness weeks and large company events.
The workshops go further than a keynote. They're designed for teams who want to leave with something they can actually use — not just a good story and a motivational feeling that fades by Thursday.
The half-day is focused and efficient. The full day is deeper — with more time for discussion, exercises and practical frameworks. Both are built around Danny's lived experience and adapted to your audience and sector.
Groups are kept small enough for real conversations to happen. These aren't passive sessions — your people are involved, challenged and supported throughout.
Mental Health First Aid training is a nationally recognised standard — the mental health equivalent of physical first aid. Danny is a fully accredited MHFA England instructor, which means the qualification your people receive is official, credible and valued by employers across the UK.
The two-day course qualifies attendees as Mental Health First Aiders. The half-day refresher is designed for existing MHFAs who want to keep their skills current and their confidence up.
What makes Danny's training different is the lived experience he brings to it. This isn't a clinical instructor reading from a manual — it's someone who has been the person that needed a Mental Health First Aider, and who knows exactly what that moment feels like.
